The short version
Pod2Swim does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app has no account system, no analytics, and no advertising.
What stays on your device
Everything the app creates — your podcast subscriptions, your export queue, and the audio it downloads — is stored locally on your iPhone and never leaves it except as you direct (for example, when you copy episodes onto your own headset).
Network requests
The app makes network requests only to:
- Search the public Apple Podcasts directory when you look for a podcast to subscribe to.
- Fetch the RSS feeds of podcasts you subscribe to.
- Download the episodes you add to your queue.
These requests go directly to those third‑party servers (Apple and the podcast hosts). No data passes through any server operated by the developer, because there is no such server.
Third‑party content
Podcast feeds and episodes are provided by third parties and are subject to their own privacy practices. Pod2Swim only retrieves the content you choose; it does not share any information about you with them beyond what is technically required to make the request.
Children's privacy
Pod2Swim does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
